Use the header as described in your weather station manual. It is likely "_" or "$" to capture the sentence into the associated LT 3 buffer. GPSHEAD 1, 2, and 4 are not used

Note: Put actual callsign at end if using a geographical alias in MYCALL
(Geocoord format is DDMM.mm that's tenths of minutes, not seconds)

LTP

1 APN390 VIA WIDE2-2 (signifies TNC is KPC-3+ ver 9.0 and goes out 2 hops)
2 APN390
3 APN390 VIA WIDE2-2
4 APN390

The result is a position report once an hour that goes out two hops, and every 10 mins locally. The weather data is send every 10 mins and goes out two hops. The IRLP loc data goes out every 10 mins locally

MON OFF
  • BLT: The BLT parameter controls the timing of when the LT buffers are sent. We can control how often the buffers are sent, and also when they start.
    • BLT 1 E 01:00:00 START 00:00:03 Here we are setting BLT 1 so that the TNC sends LT 1 (a position report) once every hour.
    • BLT 2 E 00:10:00 START 00:04:06 Here we are setting BLT 2 so that the TNC sends LT 2 (a position report) once every 10 minutes at four minutes and six seconds after start. This will ensure that the position data persists on the D7 and D700 screens.
    • BLT 3 E 00:10:00 START 00:06:09 CLEAR Here we are setting BLT 3 so that the TNC sends LT 3 (weather data) once every 10 minutes starting six minutes nine seconds after start.. The CLEAR parameter clears the LT buffer as soon as the buffer is sent. If the buffer is empty, nothing will be sent. This keeps from sending stale data if something happens to the incoming weather data stream from the weather station.
    • BLT 4 E 00:10:00 START 00:08:11 Here we are setting BLT 4 so that the TNC sends LT 4 (IRLP node data) once every 10 minutes starting eight minutes 11 seconds after start. This will ensure that the IRLP node data persists on t
